Planned system outage | Our online services (including myIR and submitting information using software providers) will be unavailable from 6am Saturday 14 to around 6pm Sunday 15 March while we complete some system upgrades.

Before you start

You will need:

  • the tax agency's name and IRD number
  • your IRD number
  • contact details.

Sign the declaration

You need to sign and declare the information you have given is accurate.

Upload the form in myIR

You need to upload your declaration to the entity’s tax agent application.

You can upload the documents in the 'Intermediary centre' in myIR.

Login to myIR

What happens next

You will receive a notice of approval if we accept your application.

We will give you a PIN number to use our tax agent's self-service line once your registration is complete.

Your responsibilities

You need to let us know if your details change. We need to know about changes within 12 months. This makes sure our tax agents list is up to date.
